If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?

Simple. It would say “End the Stigma”. I think it would also have the number for the suicide prevention hotline (988). There’s so much to say about what the mental health stigma is and why it needs to end, but it just…needs…to end. How many lives would be saved if it ended? What would our society be like if everybody who needed help with their mental health could not only easily get help but felt comfortable seeking it out? It’s past time for this to stop being a “what if” scenario. It needs to happen now.

Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
