What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

The first thing that comes to mind is writing a book. But the thing is, I’m already attempting it. And while there is no guarantee that I won’t fail, I’m doing it anyway. In fact, I know I’m going to “fail” in that there will be rejections. But at some point, either a publisher will accept it, or I will publish it myself. People closest to me who know the truth of what happened to me in my old life repeatedly told me to tell more people what happened. And while that experience is only a small part of my book, my old life is filled with lessons that people need to know. I will absolutely live up to the description my friend said of my writing…I’ll hold nothing back. I suppose now that my Taylor Swift journey is over and my epic sweater project is done, I have nothing else standing in my way of writing. Here I go…

  1. That’s right girlie…get writing. Set a small daily goal either time or word count. A goal you can make all the time and small enough if you want to do more you can.

    1. That’s a really good idea! There’s definitely stages to my book idea and maybe if I time it out and make the end of the year my goal for getting done with stage 1 that will help.

  2. Sounds like a plan. Yours is kinda nonfiction, memoir, essay style? Definitely make some sort of outline game plan to keep it on track. At least a a few pages of things to cover so you don’t leave anything out.

    1. Yep, all of that, lol!

  3. Let it rip!

Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
