Not a good day today. I’m concerned about the way I feel. Various doctors appointments scheduled this week to try and figure it out. Various applications submitted so that I can get hired somewhere else and eliminate my current job as a contributing factor to how I feel.

Really though, I don’t think it’s just my job. It was so much worse at the other place. I think there’s more going on with me. I’m really suspecting perimenopause and crazy hormones. Obgyn doctor tomorrow and psychiatrist on Thursday to cover my bases. Something is not right.

Yes! I definitely think so too! My supervisor told the big boss she thinks I’m going to quit if I continue to be overworked like this. She went to bat for me. It didn’t work, but at least she’ll get to say “I told you so” soon.
Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
