I don’t have much for you all today. I guess I could dub today “Who woulda thunk it Thursday?” Because after the anxiety and prep for the ice storm last weekend, this is what my weather app looks like for this weekend:

Within this snow storm, my area is forecast for 6-8 inches. Or so some models say. They keep talking about bands of heavier snow coming over where I am.

So…another storm to prepare for. Busy time at work prepping for possible school cancellations which we never find out about until the very last minute. This one has us under a winter storm watch starting at 4:00 pm tomorrow so we’re hopeful we’ll get to go home early.

Tomorrow is also the day of my interview at a different place. I’m very excited about the possibility of getting that job. I hope I can portray that excitement and confidence in my skills so that they’ll ultimately pick me.

Needless to say, lots on my mind today other than interesting topics. Though, I do have a good one I’m saving for “Say what?!” Saturday. Stay tuned…

  1. Hope the snow os light enough to get around but they still cancel school as a precaution. Look luck tomorrow

  2. We’re supposed to get up to a foot of snow on some models for my area of NC. We’re still recovering from Fern and if Gianna is going to do some major damage, it’s going to further crush our already lackluster infrastructure.

I’m going to be INSIDE all weekend.

Good luck with the interview! Stay warm and safe!

    1. Thank you! All of our Fern stuff was mostly gone by Monday afternoon. But with what we’re supposed to get tomorrow and how cold it’s been?! It might stick around longer. Warm thoughts headed your way too!

      1. Thank you kindly. I appreciate it! 🙏🏾🩵

Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
