5Ws Wednesday

I don’t have anything insightful that I’m wondering about today, so I did a Google search for: random questions that start with a W. I have some interesting answers for this one:

What’s the worst name you could give a pet?

Now, I don’t think these answers are the worst, but let me tell you about the pets I know or know of through friends or family.

Let’s begin with the yellow lab that my middle sister had. His name was Bo. However, his AKC registered name was Bodacious Tatas.

Josh’s oldest niece has a cat named Shitlord. From what I hear, he’s the equivalent of my Nugget. Who was so named because I had another cat that the vet described as a spicy chicken nugget. Faye, by the way, was described as a regular chicken nugget. When we got Nugget, she was definitely on the spicy side.

I have a knitting friend who has an equally spicy cat named Lucifer. But I don’t know if it’s actually Lucifer or Lucipurr. I think it’s the first one, but I think Lucipurr would be a good one too. I want to say I remember her telling us that the vet refused to accept the cat’s name, so it must have actually been Lucifer, maybe spelled with a U? Lucifur?

I don’t think there’s a bad name for a pet. I mean, you can’t get much worse than the name of the devil himself. But with a cat, if the name fits…

What are your thoughts? What’s the worst name you could give a pet?

  1. My baby cousin has an aquatic turtle named “Boo Boo Kitty.” I truly hate that name. 🤣😆😂

    1. “Boo Boo Kitty” as in, from one of the Jay and Silent Bob movies?! As I recall, wasn’t there an expletive at the end of that name? Lol!

      1. I have no clue. I didn’t watch those movies, really. Every time they mention that beautiful turtle’s name, I cringe. Lol.

      2. Aww! Yeah, definitely not a good name for a pretty turtle!

  2. Never names a pet anything weird. Don’t recall anyone I know doing it either…guess we are all boring. But Boo Boo Kitty would be great for a black cat, just like Shirley’s stuffed cat in the television show “Laverne and Shirley”, not for a turtle though

    1. Ah…Lavern and Shirley, another one I haven’t seen. Lol!

      1. I was wondering lol. They first appeared on Happy Days and got a spin off show.

Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
