Movie/music Monday
I can’t pass up my usual movie/music Monday theme today, despite having another post published already.
My other post today talked about nostalgia and things I was obsessed with as a kid. The music today is not from the time when I would say I was a kid. I was more middle to high school when these girl groups became a part of my listening repertoire.
I’m talking about TLC, Salt-n-Pepa, and En Vogue. Some absolute bangers from all of them. Wouldn’t you know it, all three of them got together and are doing a concert tour. And I’m going!

I had seen ads for their tour but only just recently remembered that I wanted to see about tickets. Or should I say ticket. I found where they’re coming to my area in September and bought exactly one ticket. I’m going to go solo to this show. From my experience at the Katy Perry concert last year, there are going to be people all around me that are willing to sing and dance and chat with a stranger. And really, I don’t need all of that. It would be nice, but not necessary. I’m just going to live my best life singing and dancing in my seat. While I don’t know how to sing and dance well, I’m going to do it anyway because…who cares?! Nobody’s going to be looking at me and laughing. And if they are, oh well.
This concert experience is going to be pure nostalgia and I can’t wait! (Also, since I only bought one ticket, I absolutely got a damn good seat).
