If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be and why?
I’m going to twist this prompt a little bit since it’s talking about a skill to master. I wouldn’t say I have anything truly mastered, but I’d love it if I could be a knitting and/or crocheting master. There are some really awesome projects that I’d love to make that sometimes are a bit too complicated for me.
The skills I do have with yarn have taken me SO many years to get to the level I’m at now. Having those skills instantly would have been nice. The learning process was fun though.
Those skills have landed me here, today. I just finished the 4th Harry Styles outfit for my supervisor’s desk goose. I worked from home today and so I was able to multi-task and work on finishing the outfit while I did actual work that I get paid for.
When I finished this outfit and put it on my goose model, I instantly exclaimed, “You’re marvelous darling!” And it is pretty marvelous. I really like this one.
I also really like that I’m finally done. This has been fun, but today is the first day of my writing class and I’m excited to logon to it and get started and give it my full attention.
So, before I officially call this project concluded, here are pictures of the final outfit:
I posted these pictures (and all the others) on instagram and tagged the man himself in the hopes that when I gift her this assortment of fashion goodies on Monday, I can also share with her word from Harry. I feel like he and I are on a first name basis at this point.
We’ll see what happens…
