I’m tired today. Yesterday I got to work at 8:00 a.m. I got home from work sometime after 8:00 p.m. It wasn’t a busy day, it wasn’t stressful, but I had volunteered to go downtown with our new students for a plate crawl. Local restaurants created sample food from their place to share with our students so they would get a literal taste of what’s to offer. Then we went on a walking tour of the downtown area. It was a fun time. I really get along well with all of my coworkers and I was happy to help chaperone the trip. Of course, “chaperone” is not what you think. These are adult med school students, no true chaperoning needed. But it still meant that it was just a generally long day. And today was just a little tiring too.
So with all of that said, I am going to say that I would like to have dinner with a group of people who are comfortable to me. I don’t know that they would be as comfortable to me in person, they all seem pretty close to one another, but it’s only one dinner it would still be fun I think. Of course I mean the cast of Friends.

I got home from work about an hour ago and put on TBS to catch the last hour of the daily marathon of episodes because again, I’m tired and needed to watch a comfort show.
I would say the cast of the Big Bang Theory, but this week, I was surrounded by 64 med school students who are way smarter than me. I’m older than them, but I work in admissions, I know the qualifications we look for in future students. They are smart! Specifically in science, which is not my forte. If I had dinner with the Big Bang cast, I would be again surrounded by people smarter than me and science-minded. It would not be a good time. I mean, I’d probably fit in with Penny.
So…out of a desire not to feel stupid around some really smart people, the Friends cast it is!
