Daily writing prompt
If you could relive one year of your life, which one would it be?

Today’s question makes me think of this image of David from Schitt’s Creek and the many memes it has birthed:

I feel the way he feels in this picture when it comes to reliving a year of my life. I haven’t had good years. There have certainly been good moments, and years where I was happy, but there is not one single year that I would like to relive. I don’t want ot relive my teaching years. I don’t even want to relieve any of the past couple of years. My life has just gotten as good as it ever has. I’d like to ride this out and see what happens next. I don’t want to go backwards. Ever.

I’m with you, David!

Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
