What does it mean to be a good person?

Yesterday, I wrote a whole post about how people shouldn’t be bullies on Dolly Parton’s internet. Should have saved it for today because being a good person means not being a bully.

So, instead of expounding on that topic even further, I’m changing the question today to…what does it mean to be a good dog?

Ethan and Millie are both good dogs. In different ways. Millie can act like a stubborn teenager sometimes…well, most times, but she’s still a good girl.

Ethan is a gentle, sensitive soul. He can be rough and tumble with Millie outside, but inside, he’s as sweet and loving as any good boy.

In fact, if you’re a dog person, find yourself a dog who looks at you like this when you come home after a long day at work:

That’s Ethan. Staring at me with all the love in his heart. And that’s Millie in the background, minding her business and ignoring her mother, like a teenager. We’re in the south, so, bless her heart.

Middle-aged Maverick is indeed middle-aged and she’s proud of it. She has a tendency to over think and over analyze many of the things she encounters in her life, as evidenced in many of her posts. She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
