For those following along on my tattoo adventure, my first session is in the books. After 5 hours in the chair, for which I was only charged for 4.5 because he said I’m the perfect client with perfect skin for tattooing. Apparently I was sitting very still and the colors were showing up really well. That’s thanks to the fact that I generally avoid the sun, which causes my husband to poke fun at my pasty white legs in the summertime.
Future sessions will involve covering more of my arm with other shades of blue flowers, he wanted to start off with a lighter color to see how I liked it because he can always go darker later, he said.
Without further ado, a moment of temporary unwrapped-ness. I have to keep it wrapped in Saran Wrap until Wednesday. So this is how it looks before I wrap it again.
I’m madly in love with it already! I’ll go back in two weeks for him to see how it has healed and to set the next appointment.
