This question today is asking about what my ideal life would look like as if it is something in the future that I am not yet living. However, for me, the future is now. I am currently living my ideal life. I even found a screenshot that I captured a year ago that proves it.

The person I have become on the other side of healing from trauma and all that tried to break me is why I’m enjoying my life so much right now.
Aside from just being the person I have always wanted to be, I have a fabulous husband who loves me and also supports me when it comes to my writing goals and even when it comes to getting yet another tattoo. We have a home, that, while not in ideal physical condition–it’s old and falling apart in places–it’s ours. And the mortgage was long ago paid in full. Can’t beat that. Our dogs and cats keep us company and make us happy with all of their dog and cat shenanigans. Even if it is just Millie being adorable sleeping with her head on a pillow and her ears standing straight up.

Another aspect of this ideal life of mine is my job. It’s easy, not at all stressful, and I don’t have to make any decisions or tell people what to do. Plus, I’m getting paid good money to do it. And by “it”, I mean very little. I can’t complain.
I was almost going to say that the only thing that could make this life better is if I was a paid author. But honestly, I’m enjoying the process of writing my book. It’s a long way from being finished, but that’s ok. I’m having fun making content to post on social media related to the topic of my book and that’s good enough for now.
That’s as far as I’ll go in describing and analyzing my ideal life. Because I’m living in it now and my favorite quote ever is: “Don’t analyze it. Just enjoy it.” So I am…enjoying everything about my life right now. There’s nothing better.
