Scrolling through my camera roll just now, I came across this gem that I saved back in 2022:

It struck me because while it is 100% accurate, I have a new percentage to add to this.
I’d say another 10% of marriage is asking your husband or wife, did you see that reel I just sent you? Josh and I used to just hand our phones to each other if we wanted to show each other a reel. Now, we’ve upgraded to sending them to each other. When he sends me one, I tend to type a reply to it. Which he doesn’t see. Hence the, “Did you see the reel I sent you?” questions.
Lately, most of the reels he has been sending me are from a guy who makes videos for husbands dealing with a wife going through perimenopause. I suppose Josh finds them relatable or something because I am in fact going through perimenopuase and sometimes, it sucks for the both of us. However, these reels are one-sided apparently. I happened to come across a video from the guy in my feed and sent it to Josh. His response to me via text was, and I quote: “You need to stop trolling my perimenopause accounts. It’s a fraternity. You’re not invited.” That got a good laugh out of me. Fair enough. There are plenty of women who also make vidoes on the topic, so I suppose I’ll stick with those. For now.
