If aliens arrived tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d ask them?
Aliens. You want to talk about aliens today, WordPress? I’ve talked about aliens before. In my post about the movie “Disclosure Day”, A Science Fiction Weekend, and I’ve talked about the alien conspiracy in general, It’s Not a Conspiracy If It’s True. Here’s the thing…according to the evidence that is slowly being leaked to the public, aliens have already arrived. They’ve been here. A long time ago in fact. It’s a seriously deep rabbit hole if you’d like to get lost in the lore sometime when you’re bored.
My comical thought about aliens right now though is, why are they even interested in our planet anymore? This cartoon seems accurate:
That’s right little grey fellas out there, just keep it moving. Nothing to see here. We’re slowly destroying the planet. There won’t be much of it left very soon. Although, some theories suggest that there are more UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) sightings lately because the aliens are trying to keep us from destroying the planet. That tracks for all the sightings around nuclear facilities and military bases.
One of my favorite theories, however, is the one that explains that all of this alien “stuff” is not actually caused by beings from another planet. What we’re experiencing is actually humans from the future who figured out time travel and are coming back to warn us, like I mentioned before. They’re trying to communicate with us somehow about what we’re doing and the trajectory we’re on. I don’t know how far into the future the theory suggests they are from, certainly far enough ahead to have evolved in appearance somehow.
But all that aside, I think this question today is a light-hearted one. If Josh wasn’t at work right now, I’d ask him what his question would be. He’s the one who has pulled me down this rabbit hole with him. For me though, my question would first be, “What’s up with all the cow mutilations?” That is a very interesting phenomenon. Something that is truly unexplained. That show “Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch” have paired UAP sightings with cow mutilations and other suspicious cow deaths on the ranch. Clearly there’s a connection. But what’s going on with that? What are they trying to find out? That’s a whole other tangent to go down when exploring all the information about aliens.
Since this is a truly light-hearted question today, a fun movie to watch that explores the question about first alien contact is “Paul”.
It’s funny because of the great cast (Kristen Wiig, Jason Bateman, Bill Hader, Seth Rogen, and of course, you can’t go wrong with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost). It’s one of those movies we watch every few weeks.
The rabbit hole is deep and almost bottomless, my friends. But it is absolutely fascinating what you’ll find in there.
