What will your life be like in three years?

If my life is close to what it is right now in three years, I will be happy. I actually just wrote about what my life has been like in the past three years. After having survived 100% of my life so far, I have recently started therapy so that my mental health will not only continue to be good, but it will thrive. I hope to resolve all the feelings I have about events in my past that have contributed to my complex PTSD diagnosis.

There are of course things on a to-do list that will hopefully be completed in the next three years. Lots of home-improvement type things, as well as personal ambitions–writing a book, perhaps? Bringing a child into our family? The greatest thing about seeing where I am now and thinking about the future is that there is so much possibility, and absolutely no way that I am going back. The past is absolutely the past, and it’s my goal to keep it there.

She knows how to drive a stick-shift car, prefers Coke over Pepsi, and spent many of her adolescent years being obsessed with Jim Carrey.
